Radio men in the Pacific played an important role in WWII. They used Morse code, something that had been invented years earlier, but they used it for a new , special purpose. The Radio Men all were crucial to our victory over Japan. They were stationed in various areas, such as Saipan, Okinawa, and Japan. The goal of this site is to tell the story of these brave men and women, who fought for our country in a unique, but essential way. Radio Men had a plethora of jobs, such as Flag Signaling an working at Radio central on various ships, but this site focuses on how they used Morse Code and it also describes Navajo Code talkers.
